In a language articulated by innovative guitar tunings and warm tenor vocals, Steve Ducey has conveyed his passionate songwriting to enthusiastic audiences on both coasts of the United States, in Mexico, Canada, Russia and Ukraine. Blending the smooth vocal style of James Taylor and the sparkling guitar accompaniment of David Wilcox, Steve's lyrics navigate the corridors of human experience from an upbeat spiritual perspective.
Fluent
on piano and guitar by age ten, Steve went on to study classic
guitar in high school while building his electric guitar chops in local cover bands. A music
major in college, Steve went solo on the open mic circuit
and soon became a staple in listening rooms surrounding the Washington D.C. area.
Following his independent release
Trust Your Stars, Steve began appearing at larger club venues along the east
coast. Steve's performances have been featured on radio and television, and
Trust Your Stars has received regional and international acclaim.
